We are looking for an Audit Associate who will support senior professionals within Akintola Williams Deloitte to ensure assignments are executed in accordance with the firms policies and procedures.
Job Description
- Understand and Execute assigned audit programs
- Produce work papers that comply with the firms' standards
- Ensure the AIC is kept informed about progress made
- Develop and Accumulate knowledge and understanding of clients business, the industry and economy within which it operates
- Develop good caring relationships with client personnel and members of the audit team
- Identify risks and utilize theoretical knowledge to implement the best audit approach using Audit Focus
- Assist with internal and external quality assurance, ensuring any actions are completed in line with the firm's and professional standards
- Utilize awareness of Akintola Williams Deloitte range of products and services in order to identify opportunities to introduce these to a client
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Must be conscientious, confident and composed
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of second class upper division (or equivalent)
- ICAN/ACCA membership would be an added advantage
- Assist with internal and external quality assurance, ensuring any actions are completed in line with the firm's and professional standards
- Develop and strengthen client relationships
- Must not be more than 25 years old after 1 March, 2011
